Artichoke is rich in cynarin and various flavonoids, reduces cholesterol, fat and blood sugar levels, making it highly beneficial for diabetics, hypercholesterolemia and atherosclerosis problems.

It is a powerful diuretic, used to reduce urea in the blood and as a depurative. Due to its hepatoprotective and hepatostimulating power, it is very beneficial in cases of jaundice and liver problems (hepatitis, cirrhosis, or exposure to toxins).
