Silymarin is the main liver-protective compound in milk thistle and acts as an antioxidant by protecting liver cells from damage caused by free radicals; it also increases the liver's ability to regenerate through the production of new healthy cells; and finally, it improves the liver's ability to eliminate toxins from the body. Milk thistle also has the ability to help those suffering from type II diabetes by controlling glucose levels.

Ingredients:

Bulking agent: calcium phosphate (E 341), bamboo fiber (Bambusa bambos L., stem), milk thistle extract (Sylibum marianum L., fruits: silymarin (silybin)), milk thistle (Sylibum marianum L., seeds and/or fruits), anti-caking agents: silica (E 551), magnesium stearate (E 470b).
