Presentation and composition:

Tablets: 100 tablets of 500 mg, containing 500 mg of boldo (Peumus boldus) in a combination of standardized powdered extract and powdered leaf. Maltodextrin and microcrystalline cellulose as excipients.

Properties:

Rich in alkaloids, particularly boldine (approximately 30%), flavonoids, glycosides, and essential oils (eucalyptol), all the active ingredients in boldo act synergistically, primarily on the liver. It is choleretic (increases bile production), cholagogue (accelerates gallbladder emptying), a potent hepatoprotective, and eupeptic (facilitates digestion). It is also mildly laxative and diuretic. For all these reasons, boldo is perfect after a heavy meal.

Instructions for use

Tablets: 2 tablets two or three times a day, after meals.

Warnings:

In case of severe liver cell damage, consult a physician. It is also not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
