Presentation and composition

Tablets: 100 500mg tablets, with 100mg of hypericon extract (Hypericum perforatum), equivalent to 500mg of the plant, with min. 0.3% hypericin. As excipients, microcrystalline cellulose.

Properties:

The active ingredient found in St. John's Wort is hypericin. This compound has proven antidepressant properties, capable of normalizing mood swings and balancing the nervous system. Its antidepressant action becomes evident after two weeks of treatment. St. John's Wort also suppresses the central nervous system, resulting in a potent anxiolytic and hypnotic effect. St. John's Wort is indicated for depression, anxiety, stress, nervousness, dermatitis, and other skin lesions.

Instructions for use

Tablets: 2-3 tablets a day.

Warnings:

Hypericin can cause photosensitivity, so it is recommended not to expose yourself to the sun for long periods of time. Do not take during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It may interact with oral anticoagulants, oral contraceptives (reduces blood levels of these substances), cyclosporine, theophylline, reverse transcriptase inhibitors, digitalis, serotonin reuptake inhibitors, tetracyclines, sulfonamides, antihistamines, barbiturates, or alcohol.
