Presentation and composition:

30 capsules of 550mg with extracts of Saw Palmetto (Seronea repens), pumpkin seed (Cucurbita pepo), green tea leaf (Thea sinensis), clover flower (Trifolium pratense), rosemary leaf (Rosmarinus officinalis), tomato fruit (Solanum lycopersicum), and quercetin. Cellulose and stearate as excipients. Vegetable cellulose capsule. Total polyphenol content per capsule 100mg.

Properties:

An age-related condition in men is an enlarged prostate (benign hypertrophy). Saw palmetto is a widely used plant to treat prostate inflammation and benign hyperplasia. It contains phytochemicals without the side effects characteristic of pharmaceutical drugs (impotence and dizziness). Saw palmetto and pumpkin act indirectly by inhibiting the enzyme responsible for the release of a hormone, DHT or dihydrotestosterone, responsible for prostate inflammation. Green tea has known antioxidant properties that protect against free radicals and certain forms of cancer, including prostate cancer. Red clover is an important source of isoflavones and many nutrients such as calcium, chromium, magnesium, niacin, phosphorus, potassium, thiamin, and vitamin C. An increase in dietary isoflavone consumption is known to be associated with a decreased risk of prostate cancer, and red clover (Trifolium pretense) is one of the best sources of isoflavones. Quercetin is a type of flavonoid. A diet rich in flavonoids has been shown to protect against a variety of cancers, including prostate cancer.
