The shark skeleton is made up of cartilage and strong, elastic connective tissue, primarily composed of macroproteins, calcium, collagen, and glycosaminoglycans (complex carbohydrates). These substances penetrate our joints, creating "building blocks" that combat wear and tear. Taking a shark cartilage supplement revitalizes joints; this is because, over the years, due to genetics or simply lifestyle, joints begin to deteriorate.
