INGREDIENTS PER CAPSULE:

Chitosan 600 mg, 30mg standardized green tea extract 90% polyphenols, Vitamin C 20 mg, and fructooligosaccharides (FOS).

PROPERTIES:

Chitosan is a fiber (amino-polysaccharide) derived from the shells of crustaceans. Thanks to its structure and the "amino" group that forms it, in an acidic environment like the stomach, it is able to absorb ingested fat. The fat it captures also becomes non-absorbable, so its caloric value is zero, with the fats being eliminated along with the fiber. Chitosan is capable of absorbing 4 or 5 times its own weight in fat, an action that is enhanced by the incorporation of Vitamin C. Indirectly, the level of "bad" cholesterol is notably reduced, as fat absorption is lower, and "good" cholesterol (HDL) is elevated. A reduction in "bad" cholesterol levels protects the heart and arteries from atherosclerosis and thrombosis. Green tea contains about 27% catechins, polyphenols, and antioxidants, among others. It lowers cholesterol levels and improves lipid metabolism, promotes blood circulation and diuresis. This plant also has thermogenic properties due to its content of xanthic bases (theophylline, theobromine, etc.), which makes it a good ally in weight loss diets. Tea contains antioxidants, such as vitamin C, which help fight and prevent free radicals that destroy cells and tissues. It improves digestion by increasing the flow of gastric juices; this is why this tea is consumed in China during meals.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
