Creatine is primarily stored in skeletal muscle in the form of phosphate (PCr or phosphocreatine) and provides an immediate source of energy (ATP). It is a dietary supplement used to reduce muscle fatigue , particularly in anaerobic sports, which involve high-intensity, repetitive loads with limited rest periods. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of sarcopenia (muscle loss due to aging). Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant against free radicals formed during exercise. Fructooligosaccharides do not play a significant role in the exercise cycle directly, but indirectly, the intestinal flora will function better, resulting in better digestion, less flatulence and gas, as well as less intestinal discomfort, more regular bowel movements, and greater digestive well-being.
