Properties: Ginkgo's action focuses on the circulatory system at several levels. It is a vasoprotective, vasodilatory, and antiplatelet agent, successfully treating vascular problems and circulatory disorders of all kinds. A potent vasodilator, it decreases arterial resistance to blood flow. It decreases capillary permeability, reducing edema. It is a good venotonic, tones vein walls, and facilitates blood return. Fourth, it improves blood flow to the brain; it has proven very useful in brain function disorders of inschemic origin (senile dementia, lack of attention/concentration). Directions for use: Take 1 tablet three times a day, divided into three doses. Warnings: May enhance the action of antiplatelet agents, oral anticoagulants, and heparin.
