This preparation is indicated for people suffering from indigestion or difficult digestion. It includes a series of ingredients that help break down food to facilitate digestion (digestive enzymes, papaya, and pineapple), as well as ingredients to help better absorb nutrients resulting from the digestive process (bifidobacteria). It also contains anise, chamomile, and aloe to alleviate the uncomfortable symptoms of poor digestion (aerophagia, heaviness, heartburn, gastritis). When intestinal flora is balanced, it exerts a protective effect against infections. The microflora prevents the proliferation of pathogens, activates the local immune system, and stimulates digestion and nutrient absorption. Anise has stomachic, antispasmodic, and carminative properties, and reduces gas formation. Aloe vera reduces acidity, improves gastritis and gastric ulcers, and reduces inflammation of the intestinal mucosa. Chamomile is carminative. Yogurt and fiber (inulin) are essential for the growth of bifidobacteria. Pineapple and papaya contain enzymes that primarily digest proteins. Finally, the added digestive enzymes digest the remaining nutrients that can be ingested in a meal (fats, carbohydrates).
